Kibo is looking to bring on a leader to our accounting team. As a Manager of Accounting, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate account reconciliation, journal entries, and consistent compliance with US GAAP standards. The Manager of Accounting position is ideal if you have strong technical accounting skills, experience in accounting leadership, and enjoy working in a dynamic growing organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Stay current on and provide communication related to technical &
  operational accounting guidelines
• Ensure GAAP compliance. Lead new accounting rules implementation
  when applicable
• Manage outsourced accounting team. Review account reconciliations,
  journal entries, etc. to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Provide guidance on accounting treatment journal entries for complex
  transactions
• Drive process improvements to reduce month end closing lead time
  while maintaining high level accuracy
• Lead audit and tax work streams and manage team to prepare requested
  schedules, samples, and reports
• Assist with compilation of information for preparation of tax returns
  and regulatory reporting
• Perform other ad hoc analytical assignments as requested
