Role Summary - The candidate will be placed in an interdisciplinary team working towards autonomous driving functions.
- The intern will use a prototype vehicle equipped with state-of-the-art sensors to access to the vehicles internal communication systems.
- The internship includes evaluation and implementation of state-of-the-art algorithms and ML models to enable automated driving features.
Role Responsibilities - Research and evaluation of state-of-the-art machine learning approaches
- Implementation and extension of models for scenario detection
- Integration and optimization of source code for a prototype vehicle
Qualifications Education-Required: - Must be enrolled at a University/College or Graduation date must be within the last six months
Skills - Student must possess know-how in machine learning
- Strong background in Python, docker, vector databases
- Experience with ROS and vehicle bus communication beneficial
- Experience with Linux systems or embedded devices
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
In San Jose, California, the hourly rates for this role are based on level of education:
- Undergraduate (Junior or Senior): $35/hour
- Graduate (Master’s): $38/hour
- PhD: $42/hour
