Summary:
Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and illustrations to document as-built configurations
Contributes to manufacturing strategies that align with business objectives
Coordinates integration of suppliers, materials, processes, data, and technologies to meet production and delivery targets
Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements
Develops tooling requirements and manages tooling from design through end-of-use
Performs producibility assessments and provides input to design and manufacturing teams to optimize cost and schedule
Creates and sequences work statements to support production and delivery timelines
Drafts, updates, and reviews processes and procedures to meet business and regulatory requirements
Collaborates across departments to investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues
Works under general direction with a focus on continuous improvement and production efficiency
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing planning
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience writing and revising manufacturing work instructions
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with manufacturing systems such as:
PDM (Product Data Management)
CAPP (Computer-Aided Process Planning)
CMES (Common Manufacturing Execution System)
