Are you a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? We're seeking a dedicated BCBA to join our team and provide exceptional behavioral and therapeutic support. This is a hybrid/remote role that offers the flexibility to work both from home and in the community while helping clients achieve their goals.
About the Role:
As a BCBA, you'll play a vital role in assessing and addressing the unique needs of children with ASD. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized behavior intervention plans, provide evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions, and support caregivers and families in fostering positive change.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate behavior, skills, and needs.
Develop and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Design evidence-based ABA interventions to enhance communication, social, academic, and daily living skills.
Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans, and use data-driven decision-making.
Educate and support parents and caregivers in implementing behavioral strategies at home.
Collaborate with professionals like speech and occupational therapists to ensure cohesive care.
Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and direct support staff.
Conduct staff training and provide performance reviews to maintain high-quality service.
Address crisis situations effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques to ensure safety.
Complete clinical documentation and maintain accurate records.
Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in behavior analysis.
What We're Looking For:
Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
Experience with CPT coding and data entry.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to mentor and supervise staff effectively.
Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).
Requirements:
Reliable transportation for occasional in-person work.
Physical ability to perform job-related tasks, including standing, lifting, and bending.
A collaborative and compassionate approach to supporting clients and families.
