#### About the Role
Are you a detail-oriented bookkeeper who enjoys keeping financial records accurate and organized? We're looking for a skilled professional to manage financial transactions, reconcile bank and credit card accounts, and prepare financial reports. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the integrity of financial data by maintaining organized records, categorizing transactions, and supporting month-end close processes.

The ideal candidate is proficient in accounting software, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys collaborating with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

#### Key Responsibilities
- Accurately record and categorize bank and credit card transactions on a weekly basis.
- Perform monthly reconciliations for all bank and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and review financial statements for clients and internal teams by the 15th of the following month (pending resolution of outstanding items).
- Conduct monthly reviews of asset and liability accounts to verify accuracy and proper reporting.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax reporting requirements.

#### What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong understanding of bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Knowledge of financial statement preparation and reporting.
- High attention to detail when entering and categorizing transactions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, especially for month-end reporting.

#### Experience
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally in a professional services or corporate environment.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to conduct accurate bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Experience in preparing financial reports and supporting month-end closing processes.
