CantaMia at Estrella is an active adult HOA community located in Goodyear, AZ. The 30,000 square-foot clubhouse serves as the social hub for residents, offering social spaces such as classrooms and billiards tables as gathering points. Residents can relax with friends and family in the cafe for food, drinks, and various community events. We are seeking a part-time Cafe Server to join our team.

Primarily responsible for serving food and beverage to guests while keeping the service area clean and organized.

Position Responsibilities

• Preparing, serving food & alcohol beverages for residents and guests at the CantaMia Café.
• Cleaning, maintaining par levels on all usable products.
• Logging all necessary information related to daily operations.
• Other related duties as directed.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, establishes priorities, and meets deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational and tracking skills.
• Intermediate computer skills utilizing programs and data base system, including Microsoft Office, internet and e-mail system.
• Ability to interact and work positively and effectively with homeowners and staff at all levels.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively within the department as well as with other departments.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Standing for long periods of time, bending, squatting, lifting up to 30+ pounds at times, dress in a professional manner and may be required to wear a uniform.
