Responsibilities
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching.
• Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and coatings using sprayers, rollers, and brushes.
• Setting forms, pouring, and finishing concrete for foundations, floors, and other structures.
• Operating machinery such as mixers, vibrators, and trowels.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, rebar schedules, and drawings.
• Cutting, shaping, and installing reinforcing bars for concrete structures.
• Securing rebar with wire ties and ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards.
• Assisting skilled tradespeople with material handling and equipment setup.
• Performing site preparation, cleanup, and maintenance tasks.
• Operating basic hand and power tools with safety as a top priority.
Qualifications
• Previous construction experience is preferred but not required. Training can be provided for entry-level candidates.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and perform tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools, and ability to read blueprints is a plus.
• OSHA certified or equivalent safety training is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results on every project.
Pay
$20.00 -$25.00 Per Hour DOE
Schedule
Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Monday-Friday
