I’ll be part of a program responsible for continually monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents for a large Federal agency. This role involves seamless collaboration among security analysts, threat intelligence teams, and stakeholders, facilitating data collection and correlation to support the mission of detecting and mitigating cyber threats.
In addition, I bring in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and frameworks, thorough understanding of compliance requirements relevant to cybersecurity, and proficiency in using security information and event management (SIEM) tools, particularly Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel. Minimum education required is a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field along with a minimum of 6 years of experience. Substitutions are allowed for extensive experience in lieu of a degree. I can expect a salary range of $160,048 to $216,536, reflecting my experience and location. My role will be a full-time position requiring onsite work in Huntsville, AL, with occasional required travel of less than 10%.
