Director of eCommerce

Position Overview:

Seeking a Director of eCommerce to lead and manage the e-commerce sales and profitability for our 2 brands. This position involves overseeing the overall e-commerce strategy, managing P&L, budgeting, CRM systems, and subscriptions, and driving digital marketing efforts across various platforms, including TikTok, Meta, Instagram, and YouTube. This role will also be responsible for optimizing our websites, managing Shopify and HubSpot platforms, and leveraging both internal and external teams to achieve our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership and Sales Management:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to maximize online sales and profitability for our brands.
    • Lead the overall e-commerce strategy, ensuring alignment with broader company goals and market trends.
  • P&L and Budget Management:
    • Oversee P&L and budgeting processes, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and meeting financial targets.
    • Implement financial strategies that support sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Subscription Management:
    • Oversee subscription models, focusing on increasing customer retention and reducing churn. Create and execute plans to retain and engage subscribers, enhancing their lifetime value.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the subscription experience and increase recurring revenue.
  • Digital Marketing Strategy and Execution:
    • Lead Generation and Cost Per Acquisition: Implement strategies to generate leads and optimize cost per acquisition.
    • Strategize and execute digital marketing campaigns across key platforms, including TikTok, Meta, Instagram, and YouTube.
    • Oversee the strategy and execution of email and SMS marketing campaigns, focusing on customer engagement and conversion.
    • Brand Awareness and Funnels: Explore and implement innovative ways to create brand awareness and develop funnels that focus on conversion and brand growth.
  • CRM Management:
    • Lead the management and optimization of e-commerce CRM systems, enhancing customer retention, engagement, and loyalty.
    • Develop and implement strategies for segmenting and growing the CRM database.
  • Website Optimization and Platform Management:
    • Ensure optimal website performance and user experience through continuous SEO and CRO efforts.
    • Manage and optimize Shopify and HubSpot platforms to streamline operations and enhance customer interactions.
  • Team Collaboration and Management:
    • Utilize both internal and external teams to execute e-commerce strategies effectively.
    • Foster collaboration across departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to support business goals.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of e-commerce initiatives and inform strategic decisions.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management to showcase performance and opportunities.
  • Manage TikTok Shop:
    • Oversee the management and growth of the TikTok shop, enhancing brand visibility and driving sales.
  • Industry Trend Monitoring:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and regulatory changes, integrating best practices into e-commerce strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in e-commerce and digital marketing, with a proven track record in driving online sales and managing successful digital campaigns, preferably in the beauty, health, or wellness sectors.
  • Extensive knowledge of Shopify, HubSpot, SEO, SEM, CRM platforms, and digital marketing tools.
  • Proficiency in managing digital marketing across platforms like TikTok, Meta, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Experience in managing P&L, budgeting, and third-party vendor relationships.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Creative thinker with a customer-first mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Subscription Experience: Experience in managing subscription-based business models, with a focus on customer retention and recurring revenue growth.

Comp: $170k - $185k base + 20% bonus $205k - $220k all in 

Benefits include 3 weeks PTO, medical/dental benefits, $100/month phone expense etc.
