Job Description

Our client, a global law firm known for its innovation and client-centric approach, is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Analysis & Technology Senior Staff Lawyer to join their dynamic team. This position offers the flexibility of working in the Chicago office 2-3 times a week. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in litigation and eDiscovery, with expertise in RelativityOne. Responsibilities include advising on all phases of the EDRM process, managing technology-assisted review workflows, and providing strategic guidance to clients. Strong communication skills, legal research abilities, and active bar membership in Illinois is required. This role provides the opportunity for professional growth and mentorship within a collaborative team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Provide counsel on all phases of the EDRM, including data preservation, collection, review, and production
  • Draft and negotiate search terms and ESI protocols
  • Manage technology-assisted review (TAR) workflows
  • Advise internal and external clients on discovery-related strategy
  • Conduct legal research and investigations to support litigation and discovery processes
  • Develop persuasive written and oral advocacy for legal matters
  • Collaborate closely with experienced lawyers while progressively taking on more responsibility and client contact
REQUIREMENTS
  • Several years of substantive litigation and eDiscovery experience
  • Proficiency in RelativityOne, with detailed and practical knowledge of its application
  • Strong persuasive writing and oral communication skills
  • Active membership with the Illinois Bar Association
  • Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality client service
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Experience facilitating and advising on the EDRM phases
  • Proficiency in managing TAR workflows and complex eDiscovery strategies
  • Familiarity with drafting and negotiating ESI protocols and search terms
Expected salary for this role is $130,000 - $200,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
