Job Description

Supporting IT Consultation/ERP Projects

A successful candidate should have excellent professional documentation skills (MS PPT/Excel) to assist in creating customer proposals, system architecture documents, project status documentation, and other similar required materials in support of the ERP Group’s projects. Reporting to the company’s ERP Application Group

The role will be exposed to tasks such as the below working with a team to lead or support the tasks depending on their skill levels

• Evaluating existing IT infrastructures and business processes and recommending system and process improvements
• Perform business intelligence analysis by working with business units to determine, capture, and analyze business processes and information requirements
• Evaluating existing IT infrastructures and business processes and recommending system and process improvements
• Documentation of existing and newly developed business processes and system flows
• Drafting Client Proposals for new business development related to ERP Applications (e.g. BI, FI, SD, EDI, and WM, etc.)
• Participate in client proposal meetings with both internal clients as well as external clients
• Supporting role in assigned ERP Group projects reporting to the assigned Project Manager
• Documentation of executive reports, project progress, and weekly Team/Group statuses
• Provide project support for assigned SAP consultants and Project Managers as needed in leading project segments such as User Training, User Acceptance Testing, Unit/E2E Testing, Process Documentation, System Manual Creation, Post Go-Live Monitoring/Support, etc.
• Providing internal business support for assigned projects such as managing project contracts in coordination with corporate business support teams (e.g. accounting, legal, marketing, etc.)

Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s degree in a related field (i.e. Business Management)
• 1 - 4 years of experience as a functional or business consultant
• A flexible schedule during project implementation may be occasionally required
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• ERP (SAP Preferred) and/or Business Process Management experience

 

Competencies

• Strong communication skills and ability to work dynamically both independently and with different teams based on requirements of different tasks and projects
• Professional documentation skills, including collaborating with others in creating critical documents such as client proposals (e.g. MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
•  Time management and critical thinking competencies to determine optimal approaches and priorities while handling multiple tasks and/or projects
• Able to understand customer priorities and work toward accomplishing those priorities
