Busy cafe-bakery business seeking an experienced, mature, professional, and reliable person with a minimum of 3 years cake decoration experience; organized, detail oriented.

Day shift hours, no nights. The work week is 32-40 hours depending on orders for the week; 5 days.

We are a custom cakes bakery with counter sales in Case cakes, cupcakes, pies, desserts, cookies & goodies. Custom orders are our business signature requiring talent & expertise to create and fulfill the expectations our clients deserve. Pride in your work & attention to the 'Little Things' make the difference between a regular bakery cake and Our Cake.

Our cake decorator position requires experience in buttercream icing techniques as well as fondant techniques. 

Responsibilities:

• Duties will include Icing case cakes, cupcakes, and custom cakes with buttercream icing to Virginia's Cakes standards. 
• Learn quickly, work quickly.
• Decorating custom cookies, cake pops, airbrush, artistic and drawing abilities, etc.
• Experienced talents in buttercream -writing, borders, flowers, as well as fondant designs, etc. 
• Work clean, work neatly on client orders, and keep your work area orderly. 
• Become aware of the needed stocking and ordering of supplies, icings, and fillings, clean/sweep/mop work areas at end of shift, etc. 
• A Food Handler's Certificate is required. 
• Friendly, outgoing personality concerned with customers' needs; get along well with co-workers. 
• Reliable transportation is needed and able to fulfill weekly job requirements.
