Field Service Technician Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class B required
- 5 years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing heavy construction and mining equipment
- Must have own tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Self-reliant & proactive, with minimal supervision required
- Strong teamwork skills
Field Service Technician Job Description:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose construction equipment and crushing/screening equipment for necessary repairs
- Perform designated repairs on customer or company-owned machines
- Technician skills encompass mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
- Conduct preventive maintenance and general machine upkeep
- Utilize diagnostic laptop computers, gauges, and instruments to detect faults in all machine systems
- Operate machines to determine repair needs or assess repairs
- Disassemble and assemble machines and components according to manufacturer specifications
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to complete required maintenance and service tasks
- Research repair needs and order necessary parts as required
Field Service Technician Pay & Benefits:
- Compensation ranging from $35 - $50 per hour DOE and qualifications.
