Summary 

 Hemlock Semiconductor Operations is seeking Human Resources students for summer internship positions at our manufacturing facility located in Hemlock Michigan. 

Projects may include one or more of the following areas: 

• Benefits and Wellness Strategy 

• HR Data Analytics 

• HRIS Implementation 

• Orientation/Onboarding 

• Job Description Review and Alignment 

Essential Functions

• The HR Interns at Hemlock Semiconductor will be impactful team members working to help streamline and implement foundational processes and workflows within the organization. We ensure that our summer interns are assigned challenging projects that provide hands-on, practical work experience that is aligned to the student’s current level of coursework and skills. Interns will experience broad exposure to the HR function and collaborate with leadership across several manufacturing functions.

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma 
• Preferred Field of Study: Human Resources 

Intern must maintain the following: 

• The candidate must attend a 4-year university and pursue a certificate or degree in a similar field of study
• Minimum cumulative 2.7 GPA on 4.0 scale
• Must be full-time student (12 or more credits) during fall and winter semesters
• The candidate must be able to work full time during the duration of the summer internship
• The candidate must be within driving distance to the site and have reliable transportation

Preferred Work Experience

• Intern/Co-op experience in relative field of study

 Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, variable bonus, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
