Position: Kafka Administrator with Confluent & azure exp (100% Remote)
Location: 100% Remote :: W2 Role Only
Duration : 6-12 months
Job Description:
Kafka Administrator with confluent exp with azure exp
Deploy, configure, maintain Kafka broker clusters, topics, partitions, replication, retention policies and monitor performance.
Administer Confluent Platform / Confluent Cloud components such as Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, KSQL / Kafka Streams.
Integrate Kafka with Azure services (for example Azure Event Hubs, Azure Blob Storage, Data Lake, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)) and manage the infrastructure on Azure.
Implement security controls: SSL/TLS, SASL, RBAC, Kafka ACLs, encryption at rest and in transit.
Perform capacity planning, cluster scaling, high availability, disaster recovery, backup/restore strategies.
Setup and maintain monitoring and alerting (e.g., Prometheus + Grafana, Confluent Control Center, Azure Monitor).
Automate operational tasks (topic creation, connector deployment, user provisioning) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines.
