We are seeking a full-time Landscape Project Manager to join our professional teams. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the outdoors, enjoy working in the green industry, and are eager to contribute to high-quality projects. The Landscape Project Manager will oversee project execution, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while fostering a positive team culture and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple landscape design/build projects, ranging from small to large scale (up to $1 million+).
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, landscape architects, and internal teams throughout all project phases.
  • Attend sales meetings as needed, assist with estimating by recording measurements, notes, and photos.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges using creative, environmentally responsible solutions.
  • Organize and supervise crews, subcontractors, and equipment for assigned projects.
  • Ensure project layout and grading details are accurate and executed according to plans.
  • Meet daily with crew leaders to review job details, schedules, budgets, safety, and quality standards.
  • Oversee accurate and timely billing procedures for projects.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure proper use of PPE and control practices based on project and weather conditions.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and client satisfaction throughout each project.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and landscape architects once projects commence.
  • Maintain thorough project documentation and records using company processes.
  • Direct on-site activities, including workflow coordination, hands-on work, and equipment operation.
  • Schedule work in collaboration with on-site foremen.
  • Provide effective leadership to motivate employees and promote a positive team culture.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve conflicts as they arise.
  • Address and resolve client concerns by evaluating issues and developing solutions.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in landscape construction or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of site work, hardscapes, and softscapes.
  • General understanding of irrigation, lighting, and carpentry.
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans and blueprints.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficient in truck and trailer operation; ability to obtain a medical card if required.
  • Landscape design experience is a plus for small project sketches.
  • Ability to work from detailed or conceptual plans.
  • Commitment to process improvement and learning state/local regulations.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, punctual, and dependable.
  • Ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse workforce.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Relevant or transferable experience is valued; motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and attention to detail are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

$27 - $35 per hour , depending on experience. Overtime opportunities available. Bonus pay for excellent customer service and work ethic.
