About the Opportunity: The Leasing Agent is part of the Leasing Team that is responsible for the management of all leasing functions. As our client’s portfolio of properties grows, this position is crucial for mitigating vacancy and ensuring maximum efficiency in investment properties. Ideal candidates must have an in depth familiarity with the residential rental market in New York City and more specifically Brooklyn. The role will be both in the office and in the field.

About the Company: This boutique property management company is dedicated to assisting international real estate investors market, rent and manage the day-to-day affairs of their residential property or properties across the United States. The portfolio also includes multi-family residential properties in New York City and in Brooklyn. Their main office is in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Marketing properties for rent across various venues
  • Managing and showing all prospects any available properties for rent
  • Processing lease applications and qualifying clients
  • Preparing and administering lease and board packages
  • Negotiating and executing lease renewals
  • Managing all tasks and items through management software

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Real Estate Salesperson or Broker in New York
  • Familiarity of the residential leasing process and the real estate market as a whole
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Excellent customer service
  • Proven ability to work effectively and proactively individually and in a fast-paced team environment
  • Candidates must have the ability and willingness to work flexible hours when necessary
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and technology as a whole (Propertyware experience preferred)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $55,000 +/- Base pay 
  • Additional commission per rental
  • Bonus for renewal leases
  • Health, Dental, and 401K matching
