A leading CBD law firm known for its exceptional service seeks a full-time Legal Assistant/Secretary to support a team of attorneys specializing in arbitration, mediation, insurance defense, and construction law. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Transcription skills are a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, manage, and organize legal documents, correspondence, and reports; Maintain accurate files, calendars, and schedules; Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel; Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks and other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary; Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook; Exceptional typing and organizational skills; Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; Experience with transcription is a plus
