This is your opportunity to serve your community as a Caregiver. Griswold Home Care for Howard County is seeking a Full-Time, Live-In Caregiver, for a 72-year-old client in Howard County, Maryland. This position requires a caring and empathetic Caregiver who can work independently and has strong critical thinking skills. Our client has suffered a stroke and requires help with transfers and mobility around the home. The caregiver will provide continual supervision to ensure the client's safety, assisting with incontinence, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, feeding, and offering companionship and activities, like reading, conversing, and sitting outside. We seek an dedicated professional capable of engaging the client in daily activities and attending to the client's care needs. Experience with a Hoyer lift and the ability to lift clients is mandatory for this position.
