**Job Title: Local Success Coach (Part-Time)**

**Position Details:**
- **Employment Type:** Part-time, estimated at 1.4 hours per week
- **Location:** Remote (Candidates must reside within an hour's drive of San Diego, CA)
- **Contract Type:** Independent contractor / 1099 / self-employed
- **Potential for Growth:** This position starts part-time, with opportunities to grow to full-time as you support more families and Au Pairs.
As a Local Success Coach, you'll have the flexibility to create your own schedule while meeting the timely requirements of the Au Pair program. We're looking for someone self-motivated, sales-driven, and equipped with excellent interpersonal and counseling skills.
**Compensation:**
Your compensation is tiered based on the number of active families in your service area. Currently, the San Diego area has 6 active families, translating to approximately 1.4 hours per week and an estimated yearly compensation of up to $4,500. If you expand your cluster to 11 families, your hours may increase to 3.0 per week, with estimated yearly compensation of $9,300. You'll be paid monthly based on the services provided, with an equivalent hourly rate of approximately $60, subject to change based on family and Au Pair adjustments throughout the year.
**Key Responsibilities:**
In this role, you'll promote meaningful international family relationships and foster successful cultural child care experiences. Your primary duties will include:
- Assisting families during the matching process and providing essential information.
- Explaining regulations, policies, and program guidelines to Host Families and Au Pairs.
- Conducting in-home family interviews and orientation visits to ensure understanding of the program.
- Maintaining regular communication with families and Au Pairs through monthly phone calls and visits.
- Organizing cultural events in the local area for Au Pairs to participate in and enjoy.
- Collaborating with headquarters staff to provide support to families and Au Pairs.
- Building strong, personal relationships with families and Au Pairs, ensuring high-quality communication.
- Executing marketing initiatives in coordination with headquarters.
- Addressing any crises or conflicts professionally and effectively.
- Supporting families and Au Pairs with conflict resolution and issue management.
**Qualifications:**
**Required:**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and motivation.
- Access to a computer/laptop and the internet, as well as reliable transportation.
- Interest in international exchange and education.
**Nice to Have:**
- Experience in counseling or conflict resolution.
- Interest in marketing and community engagement.
- Access to an iPad or tablet for in-home visits and orientations.
**Training and Onboarding:**
To ensure you're well-prepared, training is broken down into two phases:
1. **Initial Training (First Two Months):** This includes new hire orientation, where you'll learn about the Au Pair program and how to support families and Au Pairs. This paid training will consist of about 4 hours per week of reading, videos, and exercises, guided by a training mentor.
2. **Follow-Up Training (Approximately 6 Months In):** This 10-week program focuses on the matching process to help families find the right Au Pair, structured at about 3.5 hours per week.
