Adecco is assisting a local manufacturing client in their search for an experienced Screen Printer. This individual will need to be experienced with using a process to transfer designs onto various materials like metal and plastic using a screen stencil and ink. This position is for a hand screen printer, who will also prepare and maintain screens, and ensure quality control throughout the printing process. Responsibilities for the Screen Printer include but are not limited to: - having your own printing area. - managing purchase orders and material orders - may also include non-screen printing jobs. - applicant must be self-motivated. Here's a more detailed look at the qualifications and responsibilities: + **Screen Preparation:** This includes preparing screens by coating them with liquid emulsion and making stencils. + **Ink Handling:** Screen printers mix inks, apply them to screens, and ensure proper ink flow during printing. + **Quality Control:** They inspect printed materials for quality, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments to ensure high-quality results. + **Equipment Maintenance:** Maintaining and repairing printing equipment and tools + **Post-Print Processes:** This may include drying printed materials, installing adhesives, slip sheeting and packaging . + **Safety and Organization:** Screen printers maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow safety procedures.
