Job Description

With over 38 years of experience, Firewater Response LLC specializes in assessing damage and creating comprehensive mitigation plans for commercial properties and facilities, including hospitals, schools, universities, office buildings, and industrial sites. As a family-owned business, we proudly offer expert remediation services for water, mold, mildew, fire, and smoke damage.

Firewater Response is seeking a Marketing and Sales Assistant to support the marketing and sales teams with daily tasks related to marketing creation, customer acquisition, lead generation, and sales promotion.

We’re seeking a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of current sales and marketing trends, who can implement innovative strategies that align with our overall goals. The ideal candidate will maintain a consistent brand message, adapt to various roles with an easy-going attitude, and bring energy and creativity to everything happening within the company.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure smooth coordination between the sales and marketing departments to meet business goals.
  • Create and manage monthly drip email campaigns to engage our audience, including crafting and executing mail merges.
  • Support the planning, execution, and tracking of digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
  • Manage social media platforms to enhance brand visibility, with a focus on expanding the company’s presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and other key channels.
  • Provide support to the sales team by preparing materials for sales events, presentations, and tradeshows.
  • Perform market research to identify potential leads and assist in managing lead databases and CRM systems; prior experience with Pipedrive is a plus.
  • Event planning; assist in the planning and execution of company promotional events and trade shows.
  • Support customer communication efforts via email and phone to ensure a positive experience.
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing copy, blogs, newsletters, and social media content.
  • Collect and analyze marketing data, including social media metrics and sales figures, to identify trends and improve future campaigns.
  • Perform administrative tasks for marketing and sales teams such as scheduling meetings, booking hotels, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with design creation tools such as Adobe, Canva, Photoshop, and Campaign Monitor.
  • Experience with marketing platforms, including social media, email marketing tools, and CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive).
  • Ability to analyze and interpret marketing and sales data to inform decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design
*Salary Range: $52k - $65k, commensurate with experience.
