Overview

The Marketing Intern will be primarily focused on assisting the Sales & Marketing teams in its business development strategy and content development to engage key audiences involved in the buying process.

You will be working with a team of passionate and talented marketers business development leaders and software and civil engineers who are committed to Optis vision of more efficient cities and safer and cleaner water.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

• Record and analyze historical marketing performance statistics to identify trends and measure campaign effectiveness.
• Research document and implement best practices for our primary social media channel LinkedIn to enhance our brand presence and engagement.
• Supporting the planning development and execution of account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns to attract potential buyers and nurture existing customers.
• Supporting the Marketing and Sales teams with content development campaign management and event planning.

• Assisting with data management by working with Optis customer relationship management (CRM) system.

Requirements

• Current undergrad or graduate student majoring in Marketing Data Sciences Business Analytics Communications Engineering or related fields

• Interested in learning how to grow a sustainable technology business
• Experience in Canva and LinkedIn
• Preferred knowledge of Salesforce and Pardot
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail and quality

Opti will participate in the MassCEC Clean Energy Internship Program for this position. Program eligibility requires students to attend or have recently graduated within the past year from a Massachusetts college or university or they must be a Massachusetts resident with proof of residency who attended an out-of-state college or university. Students pursuing a masters degree are eligible for this program though Ph.D. candidates are not.
