Job Description
A Material Handler, or Warehouse Associate, is responsible for handling, moving, replenishing and storing various non-hazardous and hazardous materials within a warehouse.
- Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production
areas, load docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or other
equipment. - Follow a range of mandatory procedures and methods of work (including
use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the
environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others. - Safely loads and unloads vinyl racks with a fork lift and
performs necessary system transactions accurately. - Effective time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
to complete tasks.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage production requests effectively.
- Proactive and efficient.
- Proficient in verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
- Capable of identifying and locating the right products during the picking process.
- Ability to collaborate with internal departments to replenish material for production lines.
