On any given day at Disney Entertainment & ESPN (DE&E) Technology, we’re reimagining ways to create magical viewing experiences for the world’s most beloved stories while also transforming Disney’s media business for the future. Whether that’s evolving our streaming and digital products in new and immersive ways, powering worldwide advertising and distribution to maximize flexibility and efficiency, or delivering Disney’s unmatched entertainment and sports content, every day is a moment to make a difference to partners and to hundreds of millions of people around the world.
The DE&E Technology Design team thinks beyond what is possible today. They discover, disrupt, and chart a course to where our fans and consumers will be next. Design brings the Disney magic to life by building digital customer experiences via the entire portfolio of both consumer-facing products and internal products and tooling. This includes Sports, Entertainment, News, Streaming and Enterprise Products and Experiences.
Motion Designers within DE&E Technology are tasked with realizing the full articulation of our brands’ personalities and the end-to-end user experience of our fans. The Motion Team crafts prototypes and previsualizations of our product features and user flows; builds large scale and micro animations; translates static designs into dynamic deliverables for our developers; and cultivates new and innovative ways to bring emotion and delight to the Disney and ESPN products.
As a Motion Designer II you are expected to work on projects from the ground up and optimize existing solutions with in-depth knowledge of the latest creative/design trends and technologies. You will be instrumental in helping to crafting best practices for the Motion team and delivering world-class content and experience to our guests and fans. You are expected to collaborate closely with partners and deliver compelling designs with little to no support. You should have a very solid understanding of design and product strategy and are expected to offer creative solutions on a daily basis. This role has a focus on Sports and the ESPN ecosystem.
