Job Description: Full time Nanny

Location: Northport, NY

Compensation: $30/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4pm

A busy family is seeking a nurturing and proactive nanny to assist a stay-at-home mom with the care of three children: a 4-year-old, a 2.5-year-old, and an 8-month-old baby. The position is ideal for someone who is energetic, enjoys engaging with children of different ages, and thrives in a dynamic household environment. Can also add weekend hours if looking for additional hours. 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve healthy breakfasts for the children.
• Care for the baby, including feeding and naps, while the mom takes the older children to activities.
• Engage in play or light educational activities with the older two when needed.
• Support the mom during homeschooling sessions, as directed.
• Enjoy some downtime during the family’s daily 2-hour nap time.
• Support mom as needed with childcare tasks (no driving or cleaning required; a housekeeper is employed).

Qualifications:

• Experience with infants, young children, and babies.
• Energetic, and able to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Reliable, proactive, and collaborative.
• Patience and the ability to stay composed in a busy environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
