Sr. Network Analyst needed: Nashua, NH. We have an opening with a great client of ours and we are looking for a Sr. Network Analyst to work in Nashua, NH. This is a 6 month contract position and you must be a US Citizen to apply. Required: US Citizenship and Residency, W2 hourly Contract Only, No 1099, No third parties, no C2C. No exceptions (Sorry) Pay: $65 to $82/hr. D.O.E. - Must be Clearable SR. NETWORK ANALYST
- Maintains smooth operation of a variety of networks
- Plans, evaluates, designs, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network
- Maintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing
- Provides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Engineering and Design
- Architect and build complex multi-site, multi-tenant networks, which enforce traffic segregation
- Propose and document outages, implementation changes, and system reference architectures
- Implement industry best practices for network design and implementation o
- Maintain current documentation for network infrastructure
- Operations and support o Leverage network orchestration technologies like Juniper Apstra, or Ciscov Manage
- Install, configure, maintain, and decommission data center network infrastructure
- Use routing protocols like BGP or OSPF to interconnect networks, and to build highly available datacenter services
- Operate in a mixed hardware environment and work with diverse product vendors
- Incident Response
- Actively participate in incident response and root-cause analysis, support a blameless post-mortems culture
- Proactively troubleshoot complex issues that arise on development and interconnected networks Automation
- Automate network operations to increase efficiency, enforce configurations, and ensure repeatability with tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Python
SKILLS REQUIRED - Must be able to obtain a Security+ or equivalent security certification within 6 months of starting
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex problems in a production environment
- Ability to independently research solutions to problems and propose viable solutions
- Ability to work with multiple teams to accomplish complex tasks
- Comfortable working with multiple vendors in a heterogeneous environment
- Familiarity with at least one virtualization platform
- Experience with LAN switching technologies such as VLANS, spanning tree, and ether-channel
- Capable of configuring network routing protocols such as Static OSPF & BGP
- Comfortable with Firewall routing, policy, and inspection
- Familiarity with configuring and managing NAT devices
- Experience with IP-Sec VPNs and GRE
DESIRED SKILLS - Security + or equivalent certification
- Experience with various WAN technologies such as MPLS and Ethernet
- Familiarity with networking requirements for high performance storage systems
- Experience with network virtualization and SD-WAN
- A basic knowledge of programming languages like Python
- Understand EVPN-VXLAN overlay architectures
- Experience with VMware network architectures
- Use of datacenter orchestration technologies such as Apstra
- Familiarity with multicast technologies and any cast routing
- Experience with high speed Ethernet technologies (25GB, 40GB, & 100GB physical implementation)
- Familiarity with public cloud technologies
- Work in aGitOps style automation pipeline
