Navi's Catering Kitchen, delivers an exquisite culinary experience to our patrons, blending traditional flavors with innovative dishes.
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individuals to join our team. These roles require a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. These roles report to The Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

Bartending Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glasses, and ensuring compliance with sanitation regulations.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations, taking orders, and processing payments accurately.
• Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service, adhering to legal regulations and company policies.

Food Service:

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, offering suggestions and answering questions about dishes and ingredients.
• Take food orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring attention to special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and maintain high standards of presentation.
• Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly

Customer Service:

• Create a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere for guests, anticipating their needs and providing attentive service throughout their visit.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and escalate issues as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Build rapport with regular patrons and cultivate positive relationships to enhance the overall dining experience.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments, including kitchen staff, servers, and management, to streamline operations and deliver seamless service.
• Communicate efficiently with the kitchen team to coordinate food and beverage orders, prioritize tasks, and maintain smooth workflow during busy periods.

Skills

• Previous experience in bartending and/or food service roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including mixing cocktails and pouring drinks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for processing orders, handling payments, and making change.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Valid Food Handlers Certification and MAST Certification - Required

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

• Considerable physical activity. May require handling of objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
• The job required personnel to sit 20% of time or more.
• The job requires personnel to stand, bend, and lift 80% of the time or more.
• The work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
• Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.

Ability to Commute/Relocate:

• Reliable Commute Daily (To and From Work Locations)
• Planning to Relocate Before Starting Work (Required)
• Multiple Locations: Mainly Stationed at Our Mountlake Terrace Location, with Visits to our Lynnwood and off-site Locations.

Job Type: Full-time | Hourly
Compensation: $16.28 - $18.00_, DOE /_ This is a Tipped Position. Gratuity Pool Eligible for Events.
