Northtown Honda is currently looking for a Parts Counter Associate to join their current team.

Occupational Summary

• Responsible for the sale of parts to all available customers over the counter, through the shop or on the phone.

Schedule

• This position is a 3-day rotating shift 7:30am until 9:00pm (Mon/Tues/Wed for four weeks then Thurs/Fri/Sat four weeks)

Physical Requirements

• Job requires the following physical activities: This is a physically demanding position. Will move throughout the parts shelves all day, reaching and climbing to obtain parts from inventory. Will lift up to 70lbs. Will stand six to eight hours during a shift at the customer counter. When delivering parts to the service department, will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, paint and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. Evening, holiday and weekend work hours will be required.

Qualifications

• Previous Automotive Parts experience preferred
• Valid in-state driver’s license.
• Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards
• Professional personal appearance
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well with the public, sometimes with several customers at a time
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, both verbal and written.
• Ability to operate smart phone, tablet and/or PC.
