Position Overview As Parts Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the parts department, ensuring efficient inventory management, profitability, and top-tier customer service. You will lead a team of parts professionals and work closely with the service and sales departments to support dealership operations and meet customer needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage parts inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships to optimize pricing and availability.
  • Supervise and train parts department staff to maximize efficiency and customer service.
  • Work closely with service and sales teams to meet department needs.
  • Implement effective stocking strategies to reduce obsolescence and improve turnover rates.
  • Ensure a smooth and timely parts ordering process for internal and retail customers.
  • Monitor and optimize parts department financial performance to meet dealership goals.
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer programs and dealership policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless experience for technicians and retail customers.
What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as a Parts Manager or senior leadership role in an automotive dealership. Strong leadership and team-building skills with a focus on efficiency and service. Deep understanding of parts inventory management, ordering processes, and vendor relations. Ability to analyze and improve department financials, including gross profit and inventory control. Proficiency in dealership management software and parts catalog systems. Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
