Heritage Baptist Church (an Independent Baptist Church) in Minot, North Dakota is seeking a pastor to lead and disciple our congregation. Minot is a growing community approaching 50,000 in population. Our community is home to Minot Air Force Base which brings in personnel from a diverse background. It is known for its outdoor activities which can be enjoyed throughout its distinct four seasons.
Heritage Baptist Church is a small community of believers connecting Jesus to others and the Bible with life here in Minot for the glory of God. We desire a man who is steadfast in prayer with conservative biblical conviction exemplified by his preaching and his personal life. The qualifications of the Pastor shall be those found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. The duties of the Pastor shall be consistent with Scripture. His primary role is to “…equip the saints for the work of the ministry” (Eph. 4:11-12). He should “…do the work of an evangelist…” (2 Timothy 4:5).
