Hybrid role in Boston MA. Our client is seeking a Payroll Manager. The Payroll Manager will oversee U.S. payroll programs, ensuring timely and accurate execution of processes. Responsibilities include managing payroll operations, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The role requires collaboration with third-party vendors and internal departments like Finance and HR.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $46 - $56 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Manage biweekly U.S. payroll with minimal errors
  • Oversee quarter- and year-end payroll processes
  • Handle annual W-2 production
  • Resolve daily payroll issues and maintain data integrity
  • Conduct reconciliations and audits for accurate processing
  • Propose system enhancements and process improvements
  • Assist with payroll transactions and tax preparation
  • Develop process documentation
  • Manage special projects and payroll upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with tax filing and reporting
  • Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Compensation, Accounting, and Internal Audit
  • Lead the US Payroll Team, setting goals and conducting performance reviews
  • Foster a collaborative team environment
Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8+ years in automated payroll processing
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
  • Familiarity with ADP systems
  • Experience in multi-state payroll processing
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with ADP Vantage preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Oracle

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
