We are seeking a skilled PeopleSoft Systems Administrator to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure and efficient computing environment by identifying system needs, installing necessary upgrades, and monitoring performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain PeopleSoft environments, including production, development, test, and staging instances
- Manage Oracle PeopleSoft Internet Architecture components, such as WebLogic, Application Server, and Process Scheduler (Tuxedo), on Oracle RDBMS
- Oversee the preparation and implementation of server updates, patches, audit logs, and data backups, ensuring the security and integrity of the operating system and COTS (Commercial-Off-The-Shelf) software
- Assist in performing security reviews of application codes and implement necessary updates
- Set up and maintain Integration Broker for enterprise messaging service interfaces
- Configure user authentication using WebLogic in combination with custom-developed PeopleCode
- Design and maintain user-friendly web interfaces, including Home and Reference pages with content and branding
- Perform periodic PeopleSoft application environment refreshes and assist with project migrations to production systems
- Lead and manage system upgrades, including PeopleTools and updates, bundles, and upgrades to PeopleSoft applications
- Document and regularly communicate project activities to management, ensuring transparency and progress tracking
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle PeopleSoft Administrator
- 3+ years of experience leading technical teams
- Proficient with PeopleSoft Applications (9.2 platform) and PeopleTools 8.59 and higher, including three-tier architecture
- Experience installing applications and understanding database structures and access methodologies
- Familiarity with client/server, internet, intranet, and mainframe systems
- Strong understanding of data presentation and reporting methods
- Knowledgeable in project planning and project management methodologies
- Experience with Microsoft Project is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to delivering high-quality service
- Effective project management skills, with the ability to set clear objectives and prioritize tasks
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required
- Oracle PeopleSoft Administrator certification
