Position Summary:
Venture Dynamics Enterprise is seeking skilled Pipe Welders to join our team for ongoing ship repair projects. Candidates must be experienced in various welding processes used in the shipyard environment and DBIDS eligible to access Navy facilities.
Responsibilities:
Perform welding on pipe systems, fittings, and structural components aboard ships and in shop environments.
Use SMAW, GTAW, and/or GMAW processes on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols accurately.
Fit and tack pipe joints in preparation for welding.
Inspect and verify completed welds for quality and compliance with specifications.
Maintain safety and cleanliness of the work area at all times.
Requirements:
DBIDS eligible (ability to obtain or maintain shipyard/Navy base access).
Minimum 4 years of pipe welding experience in ship repair or industrial environments.
Proficient in SMAW (stick) and TIG welding; MIG a plus.
Ability to pass required weld tests.
Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions.
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic required.
Must pass background check and drug screening.
