Job Title: Produce Clerk

JOB SUMMARY
Receive product, prepare, weigh, price and package produce and keep the produce rack rotated and
filled to ensure customer requirements are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES

E Provide products and services that are competitively priced, always meet the requirements of internal and
external customers and abide by the Company’s Mission Statement.
E Maintain cleanliness of equipment, tables, utensils, floor (to ensure safety) and sanitation regulations are met.
E Fill produce racks full of fresh produce by carting product from preparation area to sales floor, then placing produce on rack after rotating produce.
E Prepare produce for display by watering, trimming, weighing, pricing, bagging or packaging produce.
A Unload and store deliveries by using power jack to move pallets, then lifting cases of produce from pallets
and stacking in prep area or in cooler.
A Checking produce on display for quality by visually inspecting produce and removing unsaleable merchandise from rack.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 18 years of age.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Ability to read and follow instructions
Verbal and written communicative skills
Basic math skills
Ability to work in cold environment and get hands wet
PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
Must be able to visually inspect product for quality.
