LaSalle Network is partnered with a global food manufacturing company in the northern suburbs of Chicago. They are looking to hire a Production Planner to oversee materials management and to manage the long-term production and capacity plans.
The right person for the Production Planner role will be a go-getter and self-starter. This team is collaborative, team-based and offers a ton of visibility to executives and senior leaders. Someone successful in this role will be set up for even more responsibility in the short term. Production Planner Responsibilities:Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders
Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards and are cost-efficient
Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production
Production Planner Requirements:
Degree in business, logistics, inventory management or a related field preferred
2+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing or a related position
Strong organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management
