Job Description

Monroe Christian School in Weed, CA is looking for one remote virtual assistant to join our team. We are located on 519 Oregon St. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable.

Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and organize meetings.
  • Respond to emails, phone calls, and other communications promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as required.

Data Management:

  • Maintain and update databases and records with accuracy.
  • Perform data entry and generate reports for various purposes.

Task Coordination:

  • Assist with project management tasks, including tracking deadlines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and communication.

Customer Support:

  • Handle inquiries from clients or customers via email, chat, or phone.
  • Resolve minor issues and escalate complex concerns as needed.

Social Media and Marketing Support:

  • Manage social media accounts by posting updates and engaging with followers.
  • Assist in creating and proofreading marketing materials.

Personal Assistance:

  • Handle personal errands for executives or managers, such as online purchases or travel bookings.
  • Conduct online research for various personal or professional tasks.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Previous experience in administrative support or virtual assistant roles (1-2 years preferred).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with office tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
  • Familiarity with task management software (e.g., Trello, Asana, ClickUp).
  • Experience with communication tools (Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams).
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping or invoicing tools (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Experience in customer service or marketing.
