Essential Duties The essential duties of our respite caregivers are to ensure safety and provide companionship to someone with a disability. Duties consist of daily activities (feeding, dressing, toileting assistance), daily routines, and/or homework. We encourage our caregivers to engage and initiate age-appropriate activities for the client and build positive relationships with the family and clients. Required Qualifications: Must be able to pass a background check. Valid Driver's License or State Issued ID Ability to proficiently read, write and communicate effectively in English (Bilingual Preferred). Valid Auto Insurance Valid Social Security Current Negative Tuberculosis Test Valid CPR/First Aid Certification for Infants, Children and Adults Reliable transportation Remains calm under pressure Preferred Qualifications: Experience with caretaking, Experience or Exposure to any disability.
