**Join Our Team as a Retirement Plan Administration Consultant!**

We are seeking a dedicated Retirement Plan Administration Consultant to join our team. As the primary contact for an assigned list of clients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, completing workloads in a timely manner, and committing to professional development and learning.

We are a professional services firm specializing in third-party retirement plan administration for companies that sponsor Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) and 401(k) Plans. With offices across the United States and a nationwide client base, we are one of the top firms in the country for ESOP recordkeeping and administration services. We continue to grow our retirement services business and are looking for sharp, detail-oriented, and dedicated individuals to join our team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Customer Service and Consulting:**
- Assist clients and referral sources with inquiries
- Develop and recommend plan improvements
- Welcome and onboard new clients
- Advocate for our firm in all interactions
**Plan Administration:**
- Conduct compliance testing (coverage, nondiscrimination, top-heavy, etc.)
- Calculate employer contributions
- Reconcile trust accounts
- Prepare government reporting forms, statements, and compliance reports
- Interpret plan document provisions and features
- Coordinate with other service providers (financial advisors, investment companies, CPAs, plan auditors, payroll, attorneys, actuaries, etc.)
- Stay updated on the latest retirement plan rules and regulations
- Complete and/or review transactions (loans, distributions, RMDs, QDROs, etc.)
**Operational Growth:**
- Identify opportunities for company improvements
- Participate in working groups to enhance our work product and internal processes
- Support team members as needed
- Maintain and proactively update company resources and databases
- Implement changes that benefit the organization
- Perform other tasks and projects as assigned
**Requirements:**
**Skills and Abilities:**
- Provide excellent customer service
- Strong aptitude in accounting and math
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workloads
- Enthusiasm for learning and professional development
- Excellent organizational skills
**Experience and Education:**
- 2+ years of experience in 401(k) administration, including related compliance testing
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, or Statistics)
- Possession or pursuit of QPA, QKA, AKS, or APA certification is highly desirable
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and advanced Excel skills
- Ideally, reside near our Maple Grove office, but remote candidates are also welcome.
