POSITION SUMMARY:

This Revenue Manager leads the daily activities of all revenue recognition systems and processes to maintain integrity and adherence to internal controls. They ensure accurate financial accounting and reporting for all revenue recognition issues on a timely basis. This person serves as the first line of internal control to monitor transactions for real-time issues. Finally, they provide strategic leadership and direction to the Revenue Management function.

What will you do?

  • Manage and oversee the distribution and reporting of existing and new contracts in partnership with a cross functional team.
  • Oversees month-end close process for all entities, month end close reconciliations, year-end financial statements (including consolidated) and footnotes.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual obligations tied to funding.
  • Develop financial strategies to optimize revenue collection and fund utilization.
  • Ensure all revenue systems and processes comply with internal controls, GAAP, and non-GAAP standards.
  • Establish and maintain insightful sales reports/dashboards for variances, strategic analyses for review by Chief Financial Office.
  • Collaborate with program managers to align funding with program goals and maximize impact.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, audits, and grant submissions.

 

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting; relevant post-graduate course work preferred.
Minimum of seven (7) years recent accounting experience in a for profit or non-for-profit organization.
Minimum of three (3) years in a strategic leadership role.
Demonstrated experience in revenue recognition.
Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Excel.
Knowledgeable in Financial risk management pertaining to revenue recognition.
Strong research and technical documentation skills.
