Job Description

Our client, a unicorn cybersecurity startup revolutionizing data security, is seeking an energetic technical Sales Engineer Manager to collaborate with our sales teams.

About You:

You are a seasoned and accomplished Cybersecurity Manager of Sales Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of experience, specializing in data security and cloud architecture .

In this role, you will play a crucial part in our sales process, leveraging your extensive expertise to

develop and implement sales strategies to drive cybersecurity product and service sales. You will also Lead and mentor a team of sales engineers, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets, and collaborate with senior management to align sales goals with company objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data security, cloud architecture, and cybersecurity solutions, coupled with exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to drive results.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate profound knowledge of data security, cloud architecture, and broader cybersecurity solutions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in cybersecurity, data protection, and cloud technologies to communicate their relevance to customers effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand and address customer requirements, emphasizing data security and cloud-related aspects.
  • Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations, proof-of-concept installations, and technical presentations to highlight the value of our cybersecurity offerings in data and cloud environments.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with customers through prompt and insightful responses to technical inquiries.
  • Offer guidance and support throughout the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful implementation of cybersecurity solutions in data-centric and cloud environments.
  • Work directly with customers to analyze data security and cloud architecture needs, providing tailored solutions that address specific challenges.
  • Deliver advanced technical training sessions for internal sales teams, focusing on data security, cloud architecture, and the integration of these principles into our cybersecurity solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, ensuring a cohesive approach to customer engagement that addresses data and cloud security concerns.
  • Provide valuable field feedback to influence product development and enhancements, particularly in the context of data protection and cloud security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in a cybersecurity sales engineering role.
  • Strong expertise in data security, cloud architecture, network security, and endpoint security.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of data security, cloud architecture, DSPM, DLP, CASB, ML, AI, and has one or more industry certifications:

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner - Foundational or Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamental

• AWS Solution Architect - Associate or Professional

• AWS Cloud Security Engineer or Architect

• Azure Administrator Associate

• Azure Security Engineer Associate

• Azure Solutions Architect

• CCSP - Certified Cloud Security Professional

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills
