Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) provide essential practical nursing support in physician practice or clinic settings, supporting quality patient care under provider supervision.
- Responsibilities include patient assessments, preparing patients for exams, administering medications, maintaining clinical areas, documenting in electronic medical records, and providing patient education.
- Assist with referrals, lab procedures, and diagnostic testing as needed.
- Requirements include graduation from an accredited LPN program, Virginia licensure, BLS certification, and preferably one year of clinical experience.
