Job Description

LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading consulting firm looking to hire on a new  Senior Business Risk Consultant to join their team in developing and implementing comprehensive risk management strategies for Fortune 500 clients.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance and business continuity planning. This position will sit out of our client’s Park Ridge office, and is budgeted up to a base of $160,000 (commensurate with experience) and will be eligible for an annual bonus as well. This role will require occasional travel (Up to 30% annually to client sites). 

Senior Business Risk Consultant Responsibilities:
  • Lead risk assessment initiatives for complex enterprise clients, identifying potential threats and developing mitigation strategies
  • Partner with C-suite executives to design and implement risk management frameworks tailored to specific industry challenges
  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, internal controls and compliance requirements
  • Develop and present strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the firm's risk management methodology
  • Create detailed risk reports and presentations for executive audiences
Senior Business Risk Consultant Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in risk consulting with Fortune 500 companies
  • Proven track record of managing complex risk assessment projects
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (SOX, GDPR, ISO 31000)
  • Experience with enterprise risk management frameworks and methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field 
  • Master's degree in related field preferred
  • Professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CRMA or CRISC) preferred
  • Experience in specific industries such as financial services, healthcare or technology a plus
  • Knowledge of risk management software and data analytics tools preferred
