First Baptist Church of Iva is prayerfully seeking candidates for a salaried, full-time senior pastor to replace our retiring Pastor. We are a Southern Baptist Church located in Iva, South Carolina. Iva is a rural area in the upstate of South Carolina about an hour south of Greenville. Our multi-generational congregation is composed of 250+ attending members. We are seeking a God-fearing Senior Pastor who will preach God’s word and lead our church with integrity.
The Senior Pastor is responsible for providing vision, administration and oversight of all church ministries, operations, and services; for providing leadership and nourishment for the church; and for using his spiritual gifts and skills in preaching and pastoral care to meet the needs of the church and community. Seminary education and 5+ years of pastoral experience are preferred.
