For which tasks (responsibilities)?

  • Developing a roadmap with key milestones and game development calendar plans

  • Managing and coordinating the work of development teams, including Developers, QA, Artists, GD specialists

  • Task decomposition, assignment, prioritization and estimation within Jira and maintaining project documentation

  • Ensuring tasks progress through the pipeline stages by adhering to transition conditions and overseeing compliance with development processes

  • Managing risks, and resolving issues arising during development

  • Setting up and optimizing processes within teams and help teams implement changes effectively

  • Conducting meetings to synchronize development teams (dailies, retrospectives, planning)

  • Engaging with stakeholders including the founder, producer, partners of the company and providing regular progress reports on development

What kind of professional are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of experience in the gaming industry as a project manager (including mobile games)

  • Proven experience in managing projects from scratch to launch, including successful publishing on the international market

  • Ability to work with a product backlog, set priorities, evaluate the effectiveness of the team

  • Deep understanding of Waterfall and Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and the ability to adapt them to the needs of the team and project

  • Strong risk and crisis management skills (develop alternative plans, and confidently conduct retrospectives and One-to-One meetings)

  • Confident use of Jira or similar tools (Trello / Asana / ClickUp etc.)

  • Confident use of Confluence, Notion, Google Docs and other tools for creating and managing documentation

  • Skill in presenting process/project/results

  • Experience working with distributed teams in dynamic environments, with a flexible and adaptive approach to change

  • Ability to balance the needs of the business and the team

  • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills

  • Initiative and proactive approach to work

  • Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities

    Language Skills:

  • Proficiency in Russian and English (verbal and written) at B2 level or higher 

    Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding Development flow, Git, CI/CD

  • Basic knowledge of the game engine Unity (understanding of its functionality and capabilities)

  • Genuine interest in the gaming industry and desire to stay updated on industry trends
