My client is seeking an experienced Senior React Engineer to join our consulting team based in Chicago, IL. This hybrid role requires onsite presence for collaboration and innovation. The ideal candidate is a passiote front-end engineer with deep expertise in React , Typescript , JavaScript , and Tailwind CSS to deliver scalable and high-quality web applications.
Design, develop, and maintain highly responsive user interfaces using React and Typescript .
Build reusable components and front-end libraries to ensure consistency and scalability.
Implement modern UI designs and responsive layouts using Tailwind CSS .
Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
Optimize application performance and resolve front-end performance bottlenecks.
Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple browsers and devices.
Work closely with clients, designers, and product teams to deliver exceptiol user experiences.
Mentor junior developers and promote best practices for front-end development.
8-10 years of professiol software development experience, with a strong focus on front-end development.
Expertise in React.js and state magement libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
Proficiency in Typescript and JavaScript (ES6+) .
Strong experience with Tailwind CSS for creating modern and responsive UI designs.
Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with back-end teams.
Solid understanding of modern front-end tools and build pipelines (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Experience with front-end performance optimization and accessibility best practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Experience in consulting or client-driven project environments.
Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
