JOB SUMMARY FOR SPEECH PATHOLOGIST I & SPEECH PATHOLOGIST - CFY: At Rady Children's Outpatient Speech-Language Pathology Department, the primary focus of our Speech-Language Pathologists is early intervention for children 0 to 3 years of age, oftentimes on the autism spectrum, as well as medically complex children. Speech-Language Pathologists evaluate children with speech, language, cognitive, feeding/swallowing, and auditory impairments and provide specialized therapy to develop their language skills. Speech-Language Pathologists craft family-centered, innovative treatment plans through onsite and virtual visits to improve the patient's functional potential. In fact, innovation is such a meaningful part of who we are that our team regularly presents outcome studies at national conferences. We provide multiple opportunities for growth and advancement, including in-house continuing education credits (up to 10 CEUs per year!), and opportunities to train in different specialties. We are looking for lifelong learners and those ready to act as a mentor in your area of specialty! **SPEECH PATHOLOGIST I** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree 1 Year of Experience ASHA - Speech Lang Path BLS for Health Providers (AHA) Speech Lang Pathologist Lic Ability and experience working independently, using critical thinking skills and processes to arrive at objective, strategic, results-oriented decisions within the context of patient care and department, division, and organizational priorities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual English/Spanish Specialty certification in Speech Pathology advanced practice Pediatric experience **SPEECH PATHOLOGIST - CFY** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology Req Professional Experience (CFY) Eligible CA Speech Language Pathologist License Eligible ASHA - Speech Lang Path Eligible Current BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHA Bilingual English/Spanish PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 2 years of experience **The current salary range for the Speech Pathologist I position is $45.75 to $62.90** **The current salary range for the Speech Pathologist - CFY position is $41.49 to $57.05** Rady Children's Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable.
