Description Bollinger Motors is seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial, Planning & Analysis. This position reports to our Finance Manager. This is an in-person role at the company’s Oak Park, MI headquarters.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Perform detailed gross margin analysis for the Company’s product portfolio, identifying key trends, cost drivers, and opportunities for improvement
- Support the forecasting and planning process through analysis of actual results and variances to forecast and budget, with a focus on sales, COGS, and gross margin
- Collaborate with the Sales, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams to develop comprehensive profitability insights
- Prepare regular financial reports and dashboards, highlighting critical performance metrics
- Analyze cost structures and provide recommendations for improving profitability and operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate pricing, cost changes, and production scenarios
- Leverage Microsoft Excel and Power BI (or similar tools) to streamline data analysis and reporting processes
- Ad hoc reporting and assistance to the Finance and Accounting team
- Excellent learning opportunities including regular interaction with C-Suite
- Support implementation of budget and planning software

- Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis on Finance or Accounting
- Up to 7 years’ experience, manufacturing, automotive or commercial vehicles industries preferred
- Analytical skillset with the ability to think big picture while being detail oriented in a small to mid-sized organization
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with non-Finance/Accounting departments
- Self-motivated, self-managed, team player able to lead by example with an exceptional level of honesty and integrity
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Power BI knowledge a plus
- Experience working with ERPs, Consolidation systems, and Budgeting software; experience with Plex and Adaptive preferred
- This role will be working with the Sales and Manufacturing team – will need to work at the Manufacturing facility in Livonia, MI one or two days a week
