• Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards.
• Obtains a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content.
• Writes user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights into language that sets our users up for success.
• Develops and maintains detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications. Evaluates current content and develops innovative approaches for improvement.
• Research, outlines, writes, and edits new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.
• Independently gathers information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
• Works with development and support lead to identifying all documentation repositories, revises, edits, and determining the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage.
• Research creates and maintains information architecture templates that uphold organizational and legal standards and allow for easy data migration.
• Updates KB articles.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field with two to four years of professional experience as a technical writer; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions.
• Working experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences.
• Experience working to improve user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content.
