Job Summary:
Temporary Policy Research Interns will assist project staff various tasks on a research project. We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about evidence-based policy and promoting economic stability and opportunity. This internship is a great opportunity to help you improve your research and job readiness skills, while contributing to rigorous research at IEL.
Responsibilities :
Data entry and online research.
Participating in qualitative research such as interviewing, transcribing, or conducting qualitative coding.
Producing literature reviews.
Writing, formatting, and editing reports and works for dissemination.
Administrative tasks for IEL projects or operations.
Other related work as needed.
Competencies :
Ability to engage thoughtfully with issues related to race, identity, and work across difference.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others.
Ability to work discretely with sensitive and confidential data.
Knowledge of research theory, methods, and literature.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education, Experience, or Certifications:
Education :
High School Diploma required.
Significant progress towards a degree in a social science discipline  preferred.
Pay Range :
$17.00 - $25.00
